As Sydney moves into winter, Naluka is officially concluding it's first (local) selling season.
To celebrate, I really wanted to do one big photoshoot with everyone I could think of that I could get in touch with who has a wetsuit. The result, was the funnest morning with the girls!!!! I can't say that seeing everyone having so such a great time together wearing Naluka, didn't make me a little emotional.
There is something about seeing so many Naluka wetsuits in one image that really showed me how many have actually been sold already and are out there. It's like a visual representation of how far this little brand has come in just one year.
And I must say I feel heavy in my heart because after the shoot I obviously remembered other customers who probably would have been able to join and who didn't know the shoot was happening... I apologise so deeply if this was you and I promise that next time, I will announce it more publicly if I do another big shoot so everyone who would like to can be there. One of the downsides of running a business while still working a corporate job as well, is that perfection is rarely achieved. But what matters is, that we improve a little each day.
I knew they photos from this morning were going to be good - because working with Brandon never disappoints. But the shots we got really exceeded all my expectations!
I think we all had so much fun that morning and it really shows in the photos.
My two big goals with Naluka (aside from making stunning products of course) are to build a community and to do right by our planet. It's so lovely to see the community grow right before your eyes.
