WHY YAMAMOTO?

Yamamoto is one of the most reputable rubber producers in the water sports industry. Located in Japan, they have been in the business since 1964 and are continuously making an effort to improve their practices and materials to be a more sustainable.

In the 1970s they completely switched from petroleum based raw materials to limestone based rubber and in 2021 they were certified as an SDG company (Sustainable Development Goals) by the Japanese Government.

LIMESTONE ECOPRENE

What is limestone ecoprene? Limestone ecoprene is neoprene that uses limestone in it’s inception process rather than petroleum based chemicals, which are extremely harmful to the environment. This makes it one of the most environmentally friendly material options on the market today when it comes to rubber.
